1. General
Here at The Village Butchers, Southfields we pride ourselves on quality. Shopping with us online you can expect the same high quality of products and high standards that you'll get when shopping in store. All our services and goods comply with all standards required by relevant legislation. When shopping with us online, a Contract of Sale is made as soon as we accept your order. The contract shall be under English law. By confirming your order on the website, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. Delivery
All our deliveries will be transported in our own refrigerated van. The driver will be one of our dedicated team who of course work to the highest of standards. We work to strict regulations in order to make sure your meat delivery arrives carefully and safely. We have included a 'Comments' section at checkout where you can let us know of any special requirements you need for your delivery.

4. Packaging For Delivery
We take great care to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition. Most of the products we pack will be in vacuum packed pouches made of food-safe polythene, other items may be wrapped in grease-proof paper. Your items will then be placed in one of our boxes or bags and left in the fridge and only removed once the driver collects and places in our refrigerated van immediately.
5. Packaging & Delivery Prices
We offer a free of charge delivery service, however we do have a minimum spend of £20 before your order is available for delivery. Any orders under £20 will be deemed incomplete and we will not be able to deliver.
6. Acceptable Weight Variation
When you place your order, it will be for a nominal weight of produce, at a specified price. We will collect the payment via the payment method you select when placing the order. As orders are individually prepared it is highly likely that there may be a small variation in weights above or below the weight you choose. It is impractical for us to request additional payments or process small refunds. We have clearly stated the 'min weight' on each of the products that we sell by weight and we can ensure that the variation never exceeds whats stated. Items delivered within the weight variation shall be deemed complete.
7. Unfulfilled Orders
Because of the nature of some of some of our produce and the limited supply we have, it is possible that every now and then we will be unable to complete some orders. If this occurs we will be in contact as soon as possible, usually within one working day of you placing your order. We will offer you a suitable alternative or cancellation at your discretion. In the event of us having to cancel, we will make an immediate refund of money paid.
8. Cancellation
Due to the very short timescale involved in processing our fresh meat orders we regret that you cannot cancel or amend your order once it has been placed unless specifically agreed by ourselves. If the order has been dispatched then unfortunately we will not be in a position to amend or cancel your order.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce you have received please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. All complaints will be dealt with personally and immediately by a member of our team. Your statutory rights are not affected. Once you've received your order we regret that we are unable to accept returns or credit for any of the items ordered in error, this is due to the nature of the product.
10. Data Protection
All personal data we collect from you will be used exclusively for the purposes of our relationship, to help us offer improved or new services to you, and may be stored on computer. Your details will be held securely, in confidence, and never disclosed to any third party without your express permission.
11. Refund Policy
The Buyer may cancel any Contract for Services at any time before seven working days has passed from the day after the Contract was made and any payments made by the Buyer shall be refunded in full within 28 days. If, however, the Supplier starts to perform its side of the Contract with the agreement of the Buyer before the Buyer exercises this right to cancel, the right to cancel is lost.
Where a claim of defect or damage is made, the Goods may have to be returned by the Buyer to the Supplier within the best before date or use by date on the product. The Buyer shall be entitled to a replacement or a full refund plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective and/or need to be returned.
